Christmas Carol Sing Along for Horn arranged for Horns by L. C. Harnsberger
Christmas Carol Sing Along for Horns is the most versatile Christmas collection for horn players. Ten popular Christmas songs are expertly arranged for horn quartet, and each arrangement can also be used as a solo, duet, or trio. The arrangements are flexible depending on how many players you have. Use the first part as a solo, play first and second parts as a duet, add the fourth part for a trio, and play all four parts as a quartet. You can even vary things up and just play a duet for the first verse and a quartet for the second verse—be creative. Reproducible lyric sheets are included (at the end of the score book) when performing with singers (print as many lyric sheets as you need!). Christmas Carol Sing Along for Horns is perfect to use when playing on a street corner, in a church, at retirement communities, and even at an event with carolers.
This new Grade 2.5 band transcription of Giacomo Puccini's aria "O mio babbino caro," is ideal for young performers. The arrangement provides opportunities for your ensemble to work on lyrical playing, softer dynamics, and blending long legato melodies with flowing eighth-note accompaniments. The original key of A-flat major is used which makes it perfect to accompany a vocalist. "O mio babbino caro" is one of Puccini's best-known and beloved arias from his comic opera Gianni Schicchi which premiered in 1918. The aria, translated as “Oh my dear Papa,” is characterized by its beautiful melody and emotional depth. "O mio babbino caro" remains a staple in both operatic and popular repertoires, making it a perfect piece for your next concert or festival performance.

The ballet “The Firebird,'' originally composed for the Ballets Russes in 1910 by Igor Stravinsky, was a massive success that launched him into international fame. This transcription of the original 1910 version of the score has been expertly arranged for young concert band by L. C. Harnsberger. It includes helpful cues and retains all the drama of the original score. The piece starts with a solo horn (cued in alto saxes) that builds through simple meter changes, and ends with a powerful and legendary final climax. This arrangement is perfect for concerts, festivals, and is an ideal opener or closer for any performance.
“Now and Then” is the first new Beatles song to hit #1 on the charts since “The Ballad of John and Yoko” was released in 1969. Originally started by John Lennon as a demo in 1977, the song was partially recorded by the remaining Beatles in 1996. Finally, in 2023 Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney came together to complete this iconic song. This arrangement preserves all the spirit of the Beatles’ recording while beautifully crafting a piece that is fun to perform and shows off every section of the band. The entire song is here, starting with a lightly scored first verse, to the upbeat chorus, through to the exhilarating coda. “Now and Then” pays tribute to the enduring legacy of The Beatles and is a must-have addition for any concert.
